Doug Pierce, LEED Certified Sr. Associate at Perkins + Will Architecture, Co-chair of American Institute of Architecture-Committee on the Environment-Minnesota, on the Board of Directors of Clean Water Action Alliance and co-founder of the U.S. Green Building Council-Minnesota

Doug Chairs the American Institute of Architects Minnesota Committee on the Environment. He is a Founding member of the Mississippi Headwaters Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council and serves on the Board of Minnesota’s largest environmental advocacy non-profit, Clean Water Action Alliance. He is an active member of the national organization Institute for Market Transformation to Sustainability and participates in developing national standards for sustainable design process, sustainable building material certification tools and carbon neutral building standards. He is providing LEED consulting to Target Corporation for projects around the country and has successfully guided their first LEED project through Certification. Doug has participated in the energy efficient design of on over 500,000 Square Feet of new construction, reducing fossil fuel carbon emissions by almost 500,000 tons over the next 40 years.
